Patches Currently Available
Greetings and welcome to System Shock's restoration patch page. Unless otherwise denoted, Super Famicom patches should be applied to SMC's, Mega Drive patches should be applied to SMD's, and Famicom patches are for NES's. I hope you like them. :)

Alex Kidd (U.S.) to Alex Kidd (Japanese) (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Uncensors and reverses all the changes the American company made to this fun game. You don't want to lose a Janken match now!!

Contra Hard Corps to Gryzor - The Hard Corps (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Restores the game to its original version, including the extra hit points you were supposed to have!

El Viento (U.S.) to El Viento (Japanese) (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Turns your domestic El Viento (starring Annet!) into the hard-to-find Japanese original. Puts Al Capone back in the game. :)

Final Fight Guy (U.S.) to Final Fight Guy (Japanese) (Super Famicom/SNES)
If you were unlucky enough to be tricked into getting the US version of this game, you can fix it up to what it claimed to be in the first place. Check out the scoop on our main page!

Guardian Legend to Guardic GaiDen (Famicom/NES)
This game wasn't changed much, but the patch fixes the intro and other minor ones.

Last Battle to Fist of the North Star (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Fixes all the name, graphic, and funkadelic color changes Sega made to the cool original.

Mystic Defender to Kou Jaku Ou 2 (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Restores the text, the intro that was removed, and changes the main character's outfit back to that of the original game.

The Peace Keepers to Rushing Beat Syura (Super Famicom/SNES)
Jaleco does it again by mutilating the third game of the classic Rushing Beat series. Now you can undo it. Check out the details on this sloppy bastardization on the main page!

POKéMON Graphics Fix v0.1 (Game Boy)
Puts a lot of the artwork from the REAL Red version into the American one (which uses the Blue version's artwork). Details can be found here.

Sonic the Hedgehog (U.S.) to Sonic the Hedgehog (Japanese) (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Puts the layers of parallax and other minute items from the Japanese version into the American game, and fixes the glitchable demo sequence.

Street Combat to Ranma 1/2 Part 1 (Super Famicom/SNES)
Restores the characters and story to the original classic. Details of the changes it fixes can be found here.

River City Ransom to Downtown (Famicom/NES)
Fixes the arsenal of changes in names, clothes, shops, and items.

Streets of Rage 3 to Bare Knuckle III (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Fixes the clothes, storyline, colors, characters, attacks, and missing boss. Totally uncensors one of the most chopped-up games of the decade. Details of the changes it fixes can be found here.

Wizards & Warriors to Elrond (Famicom/NES)
Restores the title and puts the enemies back into their proper places.
