Anime Seamstress Collages back to top |
The Anime Seamstress (In case you're wondering about my credentials ^__^) I've been sewing clothes for myself, my mom, and my sisters since I was in college (quite a long time ago ^__^;:). Last year, I decided to make a career out of it since it's what I really love to do, so I quit my writing job in a glossy, and started sewing. I want to make costume-making my specialty because it's extremely interesting and leaves room for a lot of creativity. My sewing-related education includes dress-making classes in our parish when I was younger, and private lessons with a tutor. Collages I put up this space to display some of the anime collages my sister and I have made (actually, I've only made one ^__^). There are only 3 so far, but I will upload the rest later. These collages are made of construction paper and stuck together with glue. Kenshin 1 Made this last summer and took me 1 whole day, but I think it's worth it ^__^. I traced this image from the RK 2000 Calendar and transfered it to construction paper. There's a slight mistake, tho', in Kenshin's neck--the lines are too thick. I haven't had time to correct it, but will do soon. Kenshin 2 My sister made this, it's from the cover of the RK playstation game which she got from the net. She added the effects after scanning the collage. Kenshin and Kaoru Also by my sis. She made the collage from 2 different images and put them together when they were finished. The background is tracing paper over navy-blue cardboard. Again, the effects were added after scanning. |
