Myojin Yahiko is a descendant of a Tokyo Samurai. After her parents died he worked for a Yakuza as a pickpocket. Although it was against his will. he was forced because he was told that his father has lots of debts. He met Kenshin and Kaoru when he tries to steal Kenshin's money. Later he was saved by Kenshin and Kaoru. He wants to become stronger so he became Kaoru's student. Although he is little and a brat sometimes he is really string for his age, He defeated Henya by imitating one of Kenshin's moves. He likes to call Kaoru, Busu but really cares for her. He hates to be called Yahiko-chan or child. He likes Tsubame very much and works at the Akabeko so that he could by a real sword and be like Kenshin.
