Maikimachi Misao is a bubbly, exhuberant and cheerful girl. She first appeared during the Kyoto Arc. She was stealing money at some thugs and fought them but well it backfired. Kenshin saved her. She told him that she was going back to Kyoto and that she came to Tokyo to find Aoshi and the othes. She started following Kenshin because she felt that he knows something about them. She also helps them during the Kyoto Arc. She fought during the Battle at the Aoiya. She was trained by Aoshi and the Oniwa Banshuu. She really love them especially Aoshi but well Aoshi is always meditating trying to atone for what he did. He doesn't smile, Misao is the one to make him smile but well with corny jokes who will! Although it was childish it only proves that she really loved him.
