Kamiya Kaoru was a daughter of a Sword Bearing Policeman. He died when she was only young and so was her mother which left Kaoru orphan. Kaoru is also the Adjutant Master of the Kamiya Kasshin Ryuu. She learned to dealt things on her own, she know how to survived. She is very trusting and I mean very very TRUSTING. It was proven on the first manga volume wherein she has a servant who she found injured on the sidewalk. She let him stay at her dojo. Later it was revealed that he was his really enemy and only used Hitokiri Battousai's fame to let her sell her father's dojo. She was saved by the real Hitokir Battousai, Himura Kenshin and let him stay at her Dojo. After that they were joined by Yahiko who became her only student, Sano and Megumi, her rival in Kenshin's love. She really really love Kenshin but well Kenshin's pretty BLIND. She was pretty obvious but there were several episodes where Kenshin sowed his love for her like saying goodbye to her on the Kyoto Arc. It was really really beautiful. Also at the time with Jin'eh calling her Battousai's woman and with Enishi, she was kidnapped because she was the most precious thing to Kenshin and in order to complete the Jinchuu, which was to make Kenshin suffer; Enishi faked her death and this caused Kenshin depression. Depression of not protecting the most important person in his life twice. She was saved by Kenshin in the end, got married and had a son, Kenji. She is really cool bonking, punching people ( i.e. Kenshin, Yahiko and Sano ). She is very innocent, cheerful but really strong and well don't eat her cooking.
