I got married and had two kids, a girl Danielle
and a boy, Michael. That marriage didn't last long,
as we were young and foolish. I went back to
college , and raised my two kids alone from when
they were 1 and 3 until they were 8 and 12. At that
time I met my present husband , while we were both
in college. We have two beautiful children, a girl
Mariam who is now 20 and in her third year of
college, and my son Adam who is now 11. During the
time I was single, I found my way back to the
Lord. I had accepted Christ since I was
13, but never really lived the life. I was
rebellious as a teenager, and loved the things of
this world. When I started my life anew, I was
going to a little anointed church in Canada, a
Native American , Canadian church. Since Pastor has
had churches in both countries some on the
reservation . The church was really a place of
preperation for the ministry , and everyone had to
be used in order to grow. I loved the pastor
Brother Ireland and his wife, they were very loving
and caring for the flock. My brother Jake, was
ordained as a minister out of that church. It was
called the House of Prayer, and it was a lively
church with a band. My best friend at the time was
a native girl named Linda. She was a precious
friend who, was there for a season. When pastor
moved on and the church was replaced by another
there, I moved on myself.
I have walked with the Lord many years
since then.

My oldest daughter got married and gave me three
beautiful grandchilden. I still have all my
brothers and sisters around me , maybe not that
close, but driving distance. Except my second to
the youngest brother. who just recently passed
away. Most of them are married and have children of
their own. I love to have them visit and visit
them. I believe family is important and we
should all keep in touch. Time is too short , and
children grow up so fast.

Friends are important too. They are the ones who
are always there for you. The Bible even says
"better is a friend that is close by than kin that
is far away." I have many friends on the
internet too, and all of them have their own way of
cheering you up, being there when you need a smile
or a hug. Yes even virtual hugs can help heal a
hurting soul.
