| Play around with the settings and get your tile. Here I've lowered the Scale Factor substantially. The tile is sharper, smaller and the design appears more intricate than before. When you've got a pattern that you like, hit the OK button. The filter executes by filling the image with the pattern, don't worry, this can be un-done. The script continues to run creating a selection, copying/pasting your tile to a new image. Save your new image in whatever file format you prefer. |

Make some more! Go back to your now pattern filled source image, Edit ->Undo Script. Hit the Run Selected Script button again. The previous settings will still be in there, if you like you can tweak these settings to create a new tile that is similar but not the same as your first tile. If you want something completely different, hit the Randomize button again. You can get even more use out an image. Before running the script try running a plug-in filter such as Virtual Painter or the freeware plug-in Paint Engine over the image. |
