ANAVOX is in the studio
Posted: 12/14/01 On Monday, December 10th ANAVOX went back to the studios to record a single project. Jehova Shama, Pretty (Nate Fry's new one), and a couple other songs will be on it. So far I don't know the name of the project or the date it plans on being out.
My Little Editorial: Some of these songs might be on ANAVOX's next CD (I don't know for sure, it's just my thinking) whenebver it comes out. So, for the next CD, I was thinking about names for it. I was trying to think of names that go along with their new theme, "Gathering the Dangerous." Here's what I thought of: "Let's Get Dangerous," "Armed and Dangerous," or, "Gathering the Dangerous." Have I ever mentioned that I think "Gathering the Dangerous" is a very classy theme? NO? Ok, "Gathering the Dangerous" is a very classy theme. New ANAVOX Fan Site Coming?
Posted 11/8/01 You may have noticed that this site hasn't been updated in a long time. Well, thats mostly becuase of school, but I'm also trying make a new fan site.
I wanted it to be a secret, but I figured I should tell you guys why I haven't updated in a while. Be sure that I am still devoted to this site, but I'm just working on a new, more awesome site.

Posted 5/24/01 ANAVOX's new CD, "A New Voice" (by the way; that's what ANAVOX means) will be coming out on or around June 12. You will be able to buy this one at Lemstones @ Cherryvale, Bible Book Store, First Assembly Books & Gifts, and in the Hatchback of Rob Petrie's car. It will also be sold at Godstock 2001, I'm sure. Updated 5/24/01 My mom (she's a pretty reliable source) informs me that 101 (100.9) WQFL in Rockford, Illinois has been playing a game. They put one band against another band by playing three songs of each and taking a listener's poll to see who they liked best. ANAVOX won three days in a row, but they lost on the fourth day to a band I don't particularly care for. I won't list that band's name since I'm not here to tear any band down. ANAVOX... Now at a store near me! (I don't know about you.)
Posted 5/21/01 I got word from Zach Stepek (the designer of the ANAVOX website) that ANAVOX Cd's are now available at Lemstone Books @ Cherryvale Mall, Bible Book Store, and First Assembly Books & Gifts. The CD's will also be available on their website soon (with in a month or so). So, go and pick a couple of them up, why don't you? ANAVOX on the Radio!
Posted 5/16/01 Rob Petrie (yup, ANAVOX guitarist Rob Petrie) gave me a very novel idea. Maybe I should tell you guys and gals that ANAVOX is now being played on 101 WQFL in Rockford, Illinois. If you got a digital dial (who doesn't?) you can try 100.9 to get there. Currently they are playing STRANGER and YOU'RE AMAZING, the new versions, and goodness gracious, they rock! ANAVOX will appear at GOD STOCK on the main stage!

Updated 5/1/01 ANAVOX will be making their big appearance at GOD STOCK on the main stage. ANAVOX will be at GOD STOCK from 6/15 - 6/17 according to their website at ANAVOX.com. They will open for Jake, then Skillet, Out of Eden, Geoff Moore on Fri., June 15th. They will open the entire festival at 4:00pm. You can check out Godstock.com for a more accurate listing. By the way, I hope to be there as a roadie.
I had recently put up that they will be opening for Third Day, but that isn't true, I don't know if I misunderstood or if things were changed, but it doesn't appear to be happening.
