Fulton - Dark Hollow Road
Took
a trip down to "Dark Hollow Road" Located outside of fulton, between the
towns of fulton and ham's prairie. I got there while it was still daylight
a day this fall, it was really a beautiful day out, and the scenery out
there was really nice. I found the road fairly easily and passed a few
cars down the road, (of course they waved, just as freindly small-towners
do) The road at first just seemed like any other ordinary gravel road,
but realized as i drove deeper into the middle of nowhere that some spots
felt odd. There's a part on the road where i pulled over in a type of gravel
cauldesac type thing, (obviously being that others had pulled over there
before) It was at the top of a huge valley and you could see it dropped
off dramatically. I got out to take some pictures from this point, and
noticed the odd feeling (though i was excited about maybe catching something
on film and also that i was alone) I kept on driving down the seemingly
endless road. Saw some horses, which i later took pictures of. I think
the one of the most creepy parts was coming up to the deserted little town
of hams prairie. Definately weird. Stopped at the odd little cemetery and
took some pictures there too. Even though the road was a lil eerie i intended
to stay until after dark, so i drove around some of the roads around the
area, like hwy o and hwy u, (enjoying the scenery, and actually found a
few more cemeteries to investigate) until it got dark. So finally when
it began to get dark i drove down the road again, this time the creepy
feeling being much more strong. I did stop to take a few pictures, but
mainly felt like getting out of there as quickly as possible. Maybe it
was because i was alone on this trip, but maybe it was something more.
Definately worth checking out again. I did get some strange pictures....
i'll post a bunch of them that i took of the area. (Click on pics to see

between the tree and the bush there seems to be a white face, it really
looks out of place, and the more i look at it the more i cannot explain
it's existance there. The sky is blue, and if the sky was coming through
the gap between the tree and bush the background would also be blue, but
it's not.

one i got besides the white face, look on the very left of the picture
on the trunk of the tree. Seems to be an ugly face there.

15) This picture was actually taken on the way
to fulton on hwy 70, i had heard about graham rock, where they used to
sell slaves off a long time ago, it's in the median between oncoming and
ongoing traffic. This is the only large rock in the correct area of the
directions that i could find, so i'm assuming this must be graham rock?
