Sunday may the 22, 2005.

Main impression:
Boat trip on the Meuse.

Odor:
The smell of seaweed from the Meuse.

Color:
The red rust color in some sectors that we visited.

Flavor:
The sandwichs and fries I eat almost everyday at noon.

Sound:
Running water.

Texture/sentation :
A bit less paranoid, but still a bit.

Day summary:
I had planned to go to "Les maitres de l'orge vous invitent au chateau" (the barley masters invite you to the castel) but it was not directely in Namur. I choose instead a visit of Brussels breweries but I did not read the information corectly or thr website was not up to date. So instead of visiting Geuze brewery it was a trip of the old industrial sector near the Meuse on a boat called "La gueuse". This was quite interessting after all.

After that, I looked again for the Bier Circus but since lots of information was lost with my bag, i didn't have the exact address, only vagues instructions "Going out of the Parc subway station...". I was hoping to go in the sector and ask around but it seems that people don't know the places that make Belgium one of the best place for beer worldwide. Finally I didn't find it but I walked beside Sainte Gudule Cathedral whom origin goes back to the eleventh century. I am far from being a religious freak but the architecture and the history of this church have a lot to keep anyone interest.

I finished the day going back to the Grand-Place to listen to a bit of Jazz.

The roofs of Brussels. In the right we can see the Sacré-Coeur basilic, nicknamed "the mastodont".

A nice wedge shaped building, I often take pics of such building when I see them.
