Here is My Momma. Momma was 41 when she was murdered. She and Dad owned apartments in Gretna, La. She was there collecting back rent for evictions on November 12, 1991. A man named Matthew Thomas came in and stabbed her 21 times. He took a plea bargain for manslaughter and will be released from prison in 2005, if he does not get parole. Momma was a wonderful Christian woman. She touched many lives in her 41 years and is sadly missed by all who knew her. My heart still cries for Momma. Indeed no one could ever take her place. I want so badly to call her, hug her, see her again...if only for a few moments. I would love to share My life with her now. If your Mom is still with you, please don't take a day for granted. I have discovered that no matter how many people you have to support and love you, there is no one like Mom. Momma is Heaven bound . I am sure she would not choose to come back to this world, even if given a chance. If you get there before I do, tell Momma I am on My way! She was at a revival on the Sunday night before her death, at the Westbank Church of the Nazarene. She went to the alter to pray that night. When she was finished talking with our Lord, she stood and she told the pastor that she had talked with God. She continued and said she told God that no matter what it took to get her family saved, she was willing to do it. Momma was murdered the following Tuesday. In My eyes that's what it took to get me saved....
Oh how I miss My Momma....

This photo was taken about four months before Ian's death. He was so handsome! I believe with all My heart that Ian will have pancakes ready when we get to Heaven. The day that Ian died, he was supposed to cook pancakes for us. He did make some awesome pancakes! Ian was killed on the Belle Chasse, LA bridge, on June 11th, 1994. He was 15 years old. Three days before he was killed a friend and I witnessed to him. I believe that He made a commitment to God before he died. I miss him so much. He was a very loving boy and had much to offer the world around him. Sad that he had to leave us so soon....
This probably was my last plate of Ian's famous pancakes
A lot of pain was healed by God in this area of My life... Even now, I wait for more healing...
