Onto Van...in a truck

08.26.2004

Rain meant that we couldn't climb up the ski hill at Sun Peaks... but we got up early and headed to Vancouver via the Coquihalla Highway.

The Sun Peaks resort.

Gas just got pricier as we headed West...91.5 cents/L in Kamloops!

Stopping off to look at some homemade wood furniture.

We got to Vancouver at around 3pm, heading first to beautiful Stanley Park. I was so glad I brought my rollerblades!

It was such a nice day. Esther and I even saw people getting their wedding photos done.

Stanley Park is the 3rd largest urban park in North America! The largest is in San Francisco, the 2nd is in Mexico. Mom and I also took the Trolley tour and rode all the way around the park - ice cream was great on a hot day!

Our first family vacation in 7 years!

Esther and I pulling a Britney Spears move at Prospect Point.

Strange!

This huge tree was hit by lightening!

Esther's adventure to visit the Atlantic Trap & Gill took us through the interesting night life of the streets of Downtown Vancouver.

Esther's new pub buddies.

Words of the wise.
