My mom called shotgun for most the trip. We left at about 10am from Calgary.

Once we past Golden, we stopped for lunch...picnic style! Noodles & pan fried meat was on the menu. We put up a tarp becuase it was raining, but of course, it immeadiately stopped drizzling.

Mom, Dad and Esther in downtown Kamloops - the landscape there is amazing. A junction of three types of prairie/semi-arid vegetation apparently.

That night, we stayed at Nancy Greeen's Cahilty Lodge at the Sun Peaks resort. Esther's friend worked there and got us a great rate! Mmm...hot tub. I also tried to Kick Ass Lager at Macker's - the Best on the Mountain restaurant!
