throughout each generation of the gaming timelie there's always a debate on which system is the best. Atari 2600 vs. Intellivision. 5200 vs. Colecovision. Super NES vs. Genesis. The 8-bit era was no different, as the NES, Sega Master System and Atari 7800 were always pitted against each other, with each side saying there system is better, especially when games were released on two or all three systems.
That's the purpose of the 8-Bit Face Off. This section will take NES games that were also released on the Sega Master System and Atari 7800 and pit them against their NES cousin to see which system got the better port. The format I use is just like the one Ken Horowitz uses on his excellent Genesis site, Sega-16. Games will be compared in Presentation, Graphics & Sound, Gameplay, and other things before the scores are tallied and a victor is presented.
1. Winter Games (NES vs. 7800)
Both the NES and 7800 host the Winter Olympics, but which version gets the gold medal?
