The house has Ocean Views from 26 of the 29 windows & all 4 entrances of coves, inlets, lighthouse, open ocean, sand bar, pleasure craft, pioneer cemetery, community wharf, fishing boats (including lobster boats) & village homes. The vacant lots have some of the same views.
Because the house is on a hilltop as well as a point of land, the range of view is accentuated. Being on a hill also provides some mosquito control with the breezes off the water.
Watch shooting stars from the back deck on clear August nights, with no street light obstructing your view of the Milky Way.
Have a 'down home' country kitchen party but be sure to invite some local musicians.
Join the neighbours canoeing or kayaking in the harbour or walk along the beach combing for treasures.
Fish salmon in the spring as they head up-harbour towards the Musquodoboit River.
Hunt ducks & geese in the fall.
Try ice-fishing in the huts on the frozen harbour during winter.
Loll away the afternoon in the hammock, with ocean view no matter which direction you lay.
