Smallville is based on the teen years of the boy who will be Superman. Clark's powers are developing as he matures (kewl angle) and he still has to deal with the normal misery and angst (and fun, too!) of being a teenager! They picked a great cast...I especially love what Michael Rosenbaum has done for the Lex Luthor character. This may be my fav version of Lex ever! I hope Smallville is around for a long time!
note from cam: I wrote the words above when Smallville first hit our tv screens. Now going strong in its 9th season, the characters have only gotten better with time. Lex is gone now, but Lois (Erica Durance) is my new fav- Lois and Clark forever!!
