(note from Cam: Mick St.John, Private Investigator, Los Angelos, has a lot in common with police detective Nicholas Knight (Forever Knight) right down to driving a convertible, but I love this show ANYWAY!! in fact, I love the comparisons!!)
Mick St. John (Alex O'Laughlin) visits a late-night crime scene... A young woman is murdered, blood possibly drained// A young ambitious reporter from Buzzwire, Beth Turner(Sophia Myles), tries out a headline for the by-stander Mick- "How about "Vampire slaying rocks L.A."?" she smiles...Mick replies..."There's no such thing as vampires."...and the start of a great relationship as Beth and Mick track down the killer while pursuing the case from different positions// Mick knows it's NOT a vampire behind the killing, but doesn't want humans to start believing in his kind// Beth is getting her big break at the news mag.
