Using a transformer of 1:1 ratio in series with the coil of the coilgun and capacitor I hoped to reach a overall
efficieny never heard of before in a coilgun. Basically when the coilgun is fired, first the current flows through the
the coil firing the projectile, then through the transformer which the secondaries then can be used to fire another coil or to
charge another capacitor. The frequency to generate the pulse in the transformer comes from the coilgun itself. As you read
bellow I have succeeded in achieving the highest efficiency ever reached in a coilgun. In this model I have used the secondaries of the transformer
to charge a seperate capacior, which then could be used to fire the same coil in the coilgun.
