William Owen Mitchell born in Bombay, India, son of The Reverend William Mitchell and his first wife, Mary Anne Holmes. W.O.Mitchell was a pioneer farmer in Busselton, Donnybrook, Geraldton and finally died in Cookernup, near Harvey.

He married Isa Izon Bickley at Kenwick, Western Australia, on 23 December, 1853. Isa Bickley was the only daughter of Samuel Wallace Bickley and his first wife, Marianne Thomson.

Isa was born on the 10th of February, 1834 in Kenwick, Western Australia, and died in Bunbury on the 19th of October, 1909.

Isa was the mother of seven children, viz:-
