Ann b. 13 October 1826 d. 16 August 1916 On 23 March 1831, Mary Anne died, and was buried at Greys Inn Church in London. Mitchell then married Frances Tree Tatlock (born 6 July 1806) on 24 January 1832. She was mother to four children:-
Blayney b. 12 November, 1832 d. 16 August 1833 William Mitchell was a pioneer clergyman in Western Australia. He built the first church in Western Australia - All Saints at Upper Swan - and another at Middle Swan. Previously, he had been a missionary in India for some years, about 160km from Bombay. He mastered the local language in India (Mahratta), but was disappointed by the Aboriginal people he encountered in Western Australia. He then limited his pastoral care to the white settlers in the Colony. He died on 3 August 1870 and is buried in the churchyard in Middle Swan. Frances Tree Mitchell died on 1 July 1879, and is buried with Mitchell. A number of memoirs, biographies and genealogical studies of Mitchell and his family have been written. Curiously, nothing has been revealed regarding Mitchell's forebearers in Ireland.
