George is renowned for spending quite a lot of time at the Palace Hotel. For a while, he had his office just
over the street in the MacKenzie Buildings, but usually you would find him down at the bar.
Whenever Charles has found George at the Palace, his dress has usually been far more casual than in this
photograph, comprising a khaki shirt, boxer shorts and workboots. It is difficult to find George dressed in a suit.
The Palace has recently been somewhat tizzed up, and it is doubtful whether footy shorts will continue to be acceptable
dress in such a yuppie establishment. Go and see George and his Landrover, ready for work.
