THE SIGN OF THE CROSS
In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil. Amen.
THE HAIL MARY
Hail Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with you; blessed are you among women, and blessed
is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and
at the hour of our death. Amen.
GLORY BE TO THE FATHER
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the
beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
THE APOSTLES' CREED
I believe in God, the Father almighty. Creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus
Christ, His only son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born
of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He decended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into Heaven and is
seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the
dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
SERENITY PRAYER
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the
things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
MORNING OFFERING
O my God, through the Immaculate Heart Of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys, and
sufferings of this day. In union with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, for the intentions for
which He pleads and offers Himself in all the holy Masses throughout the world, in
thanksgiving for Your favors, in reparation for our sins, for the petitions of our
associates, and, in particular, for the intentions recommended this month by our Holy
Father, the Pope.
BLESSING BEFORE MEALS
Bless us, O Lord and these Your gifts, which we are about to receive from your goodness
through Christ our Lord. Amen.
GRACE AFTER MEALS
We give you thanks, O Lord, for these Your gifts which we have received from Your
goodness, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
ACT OF FAITH
O my God, I firmly believe in all that Your holy catholic and apostolic Church approves
and teaches, since it is You, the infallible Truth, who revealed it to Your Church.
ACT OF HOPE
O my God, with a firm confidence I hope in You, that You grant me, through the merits of
Jesus Christ, the assistance of Your grace, and that if I have kept Your commandments, You
will bestow life everlasting, according to Your promises, You who are almighty and whose
word is truth.
ACT OF LOVE
Oh my God, I love You with my whole heart, with my whole soul, with my whole strength, and
above all things because you are infinitely good and infinitely lovable. Also for love of
You, I love my neighbor as myself.
ACT OF CONTRITION
My God, I am sorry for my sins with my whole heart. In choosing to do wrong and failing to
do good, I have sinned against You whom I should love above all things. I firmly intend,
with Your help, to do pennance, to sin no more, and to avoid whatever leads me to sin. Our
Savior Jesus Christ died for us. In his name, my God, have mercy.
THE ANGELUS
(Recited at dawn, noon, and evening)
The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary
And she conceived by the Holy Spirit.
(Hail Mary)
Behold the handmaid of the Lord,
Be it done according to Your word.
(Hail Mary)
And the Word was made flesh
And dwelt among us.
(Hail Mary)
Pray for us, O Mother of God,
That we may be worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
Pour forth, we beseech You, O Lord, Your grace into our hearts; that we, to whom the
incarnation of Christ, Your Son was made known by the message of an angel, may, by His
passion and death, be brought to the glory of His resurrection. Through the same Christ
our Lord. Amen
THE MEMORARE
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to
your protection, implored your help, and sought your intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother. To you I come;
before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my
petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
REGINA COELI
(Recited at Eastertime)
Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia:
For He whom you did not merit to bear, alleluia,
Has risen as He said, alleluia.
Pray for us to God, alleluia.
Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
Because the Lord is truly rissen, alleluia.
Let us pray.
O God, who be the resurrection of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, has made the whole
world glad; grant, we beseech You, that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, His
mother, we may be granted the joys of eternal life. Through the same Christ our Lord.
Amen.
HAIL HOLY QUEEN
Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To you do we cry,
poor banished children of Eve: to you do we sigh, mourning and weeping in this valley of
tears. Turn then, most gradious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our
exile, show us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin
Mary!
