As we look and work toward the future, the history of our parish gives us much pride.
The foundation of the current church was laid in 1863, more than 140 years ago. The walls
were not built until five years later in 1868. Records suggest that the bell tower was
added later and that in the 1890's the church was enlarged. However, the records are
vague.
