The Auctioneer funds a group called "The Soul Patrol". Founded by "The Portuguese Man O' War" Antonio de Machado in 1433, the first slave trader who imported Africans, he originally commissioned a team of 5 to obtain the "goods".

The current group's goal is to retrieve lost souls, i.e. people who have lost "it", and supply the goods to The Auctioneer. The Auctioneer then attempts to sell these people to the highest bidder- by selling their past accomplishments and quickly skipping over their pathetic past and negative traits by speaking like only The Auctioneer can!
