Coleman Barracks is located in the central Rhein River
valley.
About 50 Kilometers south of Frankfurt and 35
Kilometers
east of Heidleberg near the intersection of
the north-south
and east-west Main Autobahns and sets just off the Rhein River.
Coleman Barracks is a relatively small Army
installation. Its
major units were the 245th TC (AAHM&S), Combat Command
A, of the 2d Armored Division and the 69th Signal Battalion.
